Modi said, “the Chief Minister just gave a detailed overview of how much damage development suffers because of politics.”

The Prime Minister said development is the panacea for all problems related to poverty and unemployment. He expressed satisfaction that there is now a general agreement on this aspect, and states are even becoming competitive with regard to development. He said India will progress only through the development of the States, and for this the Centre and States have to work together. Reported by Business Standard

Modi said, “Nitish Kumar and I are working towards fulfilling the states’ needs by increasing allocation to states and After the change in the government (at the centre in 2004), the railway ministers that came from here, halted the work and after we came to power we have again started the work. Let those who want to do politics, do it. But the people of Bihar have been hit because of it.”
