Acer has announced its dual OS booting netbook Aspire One D250 and it is formally available in India. It is a very portable and lightweight netbook. Acer boasts of the 18-second boot up and 3 second shut down. Netbooks have gained popularity among all. Notebooks popularity is chiefly because of its size and cheap pricing. It is priced at Rs. 18,599.
Aspire One D250 is sleek, slim and attractive. Acer touts of “instant on” Android boot and also switching between Windows XP and Android. Acer AOD250 has special dual-boot feature that allows the netbook to boot in either Android or Windows XP.
Acer features customized Firefox browser along with other pre-installed applications. It features a 10.1″ LED backlit LCD display, along with an Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 3-cell battery, Windows XP, 160GB hard drive, 1 gig of ram and a built-in webcam. You can navigate easily around your netbook using the multi-gesture touchpad with two buttons that features circular-motion scrolling, pinch-action zoom and page flip.
