Apple assists around 1.5 billion applications – In just a one year period of time, Apple’s App store has shown its remarkable performance. There is no secrecy behind fantastic successfulness of iTunes App store and seeing its high prospering growth, even Apple’s smartphone competitors are trying to replicate their concept. Apple has announced that its users have downloaded greater than 1.5 billion applications since the launch of App store.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs stated, “With 1.5 billion applications, it is goanna very difficult for others to catch up”. Also, the industry has not seen ever as like the App store, which is so good in both scale as well as quality. The self praise of Apple is quite worthy as in just three months, App store has catered one billion applications and is still continuing to grow at more rapid pace.
Currently, Apple has been comprised with more than 65k apps and 100k developers. It has been expected that before the completion of this year, the figure will be raised to 2 billion applications. The rivals of Apple have already opened mobile app stores like Nokia, Google, Palm etc. Vodafone and Microsoft are on the same race. Besides all this, Apple needs to contour its App store approval process that still persists as a puzzle to its developers as well as users. Last but not least, there is no denial that App store has been rocking and will be in future.
