Apple plans to add camera in iPod Touch, iPod Nano
We got Apple’s new romour for the iPod Touch and iPod nano. Acording to HardMac Apple plans to launch new generation devices for users. Apple should refresh models for the iPod nano and Touch in september. Both should now include a camera, similarly to the iPhone.
According to an unconfirmed report, Apple’s next handheld will be the first in this line with a built-in camera. This fits with other rumors that say the next iPhone will have a greater focus on its camera, with video recording and editing allegedly being added. It’s possible the iPod touch will get these same features.
Adding a camera to the nano may be a simple but material enough measure that could help drive upgrade cycles on the part of consumers, some of which may be turned on to the novelty of having rudimentary point-and-shoot capabilities built into a device they carry regularly, doing away for the need to tote a separate device more frequently.
The iPod Touch and iPod nano will see them getting brand new cameras. It’s not hard to see why; iPod’s with cameras will mean that Apple can sell that many more camera apps. Plus, cutting-edge tech geeks will have to buy replacement iPods if the new ones have cameras.
These are just rumors, so we’ll have to wait until fall to see if these predictions are true.
