K.S. Sudarshan is the former chief of RSS. His derogatory comments about Congress President Sonia Gandhi led the Congress party to a warpath on Friday. It has been reported that an FIR has been lodged against him in Jaipur and a defamation case has been filed in Bhopal against him. It has been reported that Congress party activists burnt effigies and staged rallies against him in several states.

He said that it has hurt the sentiments of people and led to unfortunate developments.

In Delhi police had to use water canons to remove the protestors from RSS headquarter at Jhandelwalan. Even in West Bengal a demonstration by Congress party activists was organized. The main road joining South and North Kolkata was blocked for 2o minutes by Congress demonstrators. An effigy of Sudarshan was burnt in Esplanade area.

Reports of demonstrations also came from Patna. Hundreds of party activists assembled near Patna junction. A procession was brought out near the Dak Bungalow roundabout. In Jaipur police registered a criminal case against him Sudarshan.

So she decided to celebrate the day with some of her close pals. She said that she has a plan to throw a party with her close pals. She also informed the press that she had not thrown any party in the last ten years. All credit for her newfound joy goes to Supreme Court which finally granted her a reprieve.

Supreme Court yesterday came up with the verdict that Monica Bedi need not go back to jail. She had already served the required jail term. This has been informed by her counsel Gaurav Bhagrava. The main criminal case that was lodged against Monica Bedi was that of passport forgery. She was imprisoned after being deported from Portugal along with in-custody gangster Abu Salem.

She said to the media that she had been waiting eagerly for this day. She is thankful to God that it has finally arrived. So she will party today. She also said that now she is free to apply for a fresh passport.

Many film makers had dropped her since she was not allowed to travel abroad. Now she is free to work in all those projects. According to her, this judgment brings an end to a turbulent chapter in her life. She was desperate to put an end to this chapter.

Now she is looking for a new beginning. Since all problems of court are finally over, so she is free to breathe fresh air. But she will be going to Gurudwara to offer her prayers to God.

They will be signing an agreement to begin ferry service between Tamil Nadu and the island nation of Sri Lanka. It will help in enhancing tourism between two countries. Both the countries are looking towards this agreement with enthusiasm. This agreement will also help to strengthen relations between two countries.

An official of shipping ministry told to PTI that the proposal will be send to the Cabinet for approval. After that Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be signed for the same. The ferry service would be from Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu to Colombo in Sri Lanka and Rameswaram to Thalaimannar respectively.

It has been said that both ferry services will be available for cargo as well as passenger traffic. But main purpose of this ferry service is tourism. The official said that vessels will be coming from a private party. But he refused to provide all details. He also told that the proposal will go to the Cabinet soon and MoU is expected to be signed by December this year.

It takes approximately ten hours to travel by sea from Tuticorin to Colombo and three hours to travel from Rameswaram to Thalaimannar. Presently India has cargo operations from Tuticorin Port to Sri Lanka.

It has been reported that government is looking to invest $20.8 billion in 276 projects. The project will extend over 13 major ports. The ports are Mumbai, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, and Kolkata along with Haldia, Chennai, Visakhapatanam, Cochin, Paradip, New Mangalore, Marmagao, Ennore, Tuticorin and Kandla.

In his speech to MPS he has recognized how India has played a major role in various scientific discoveries like zero and other complicated mathematical concepts. Obama addressed the house of MPs during his short visit to India.

A ceremonial reception was organized for US President Barack Obama at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Monday morning. Obama along with his wife Michelle were welcomed at the presidential palace forecourt by Indian President Partibha Patel and her husband Devisingh Patel. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Gursharan Kaur were also present over there to greet US President and his wife.

It has been reported that Obama in a short statement said that India is not a rising power but a global power. He expressed his gratitude for the grand welcome and affection shown to him during his visit. He also said that counter terrorism will get high priority in his talks with Indian Officials in the afternoon.

After the ceremonial welcome President Obama went to Rajghat to pay his tribute to our “Father of the Nation” Mahatma Gandhi. Obama said that his real hero is Mahatma Gandhi. Then he will hold formal talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and address a joint press conference. It has been reported that in the evening he will be addressing a joint sitting of Parliament before the state banquet at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The main part of Obama’s visit to India began on Sunday evening when he arrived in New Delhi. In Mumbai he mainly discussed about deals with India that were already done and jobs these would create in US.

Indian Officials are not expecting Obama to support India’s claim for permanent seat in Security Council. But on high tech exports there will be a positive movement. They are expecting US to amend the export control laws in India -US joint statement.

They will also support New Delhi’s membership of premiere nuclear clubs. In fact they will also support India in acting as a global power especially in East Asia. This was decided when President Barack Obama held talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. It was reported that India’s concern for Pakistan and China is dominating the bilateral meet between Singh and Obama.

Obama however is not providing unequivocal support to New Delhi’s claim for a permanent seat in Security Council. It has disappointed many Indians. However it is expected that he will push for a bigger role for India in United Nation and in the International system. Lalit Mansingh who was India’s former ambassador to US told to IANS that Obama is in favour of India’s claim for permanent seat in Security Council but he will not declare openly in favour of India.

It has been reported that there will be some positive development on high tech exports. Indian officials are expecting that US will be expressing their intention to amend export control laws in the India US joint law statement. It has been said that while Obama was having a meeting with business honchos in Mumbai he had signaled that he is serious about eradicating “unwanted restrictions” which stands as the main obstacle in trading between two countries

It has been informed by some sources that US decision to support India for full membership in Nuclear Supplier Group, Missile Technology Control Regime, the Australian Group and Wassenaar Group will be reflected in the joint statement.

It has been reported by a source that India and US will be joining hands to combat terrorism. This has been declared by Obama in his speech before 26/11 victims in Mumbai on Saturday.

Solanki is a resident of Vadodara. He has also been accused in Best Bakery communal killing in Gujarat in 2002. He was missing since then. He was arrested by Rajasthan Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS). His arrest is the fourth one in a row by Rajasthan ATS which is investigating Ajmer blast case.

Kapil Garg is ATS additional director general. He said that Solanki was one of the accused in Best Bakery Case in Gujarat.

There is hope in United States of America that the economy will turn around quickly. The whole state was suffering from the worst economic crisis since the great depression when Obama came into office. American voters are extremely unhappy about their state of economy. It has been reported that the economy has recovered from recession, but unfortunately the economic growth fails to provide jobs for the unemployed youth. As a result of which growth remains absolutely jobless and the number of unemployed has increased at 9.5% mark for over a year.

It has been found that economy has dominated all other issues in the mid term polls. Among ten voters, six have considered economy to be the major problem of the nation. While four voters among ten has said that financial condition of their family has worsened under Obama.

It is known by all that “bad economics always makes bad politics”. This is the main reason why Obama will start with business right from touch down. The corporate sector wishes to raise concerns on protectionism and outsourcing. They are expecting that Obama will be on a job hunt hoping that India will create job opportunities in the recession period.

250 executives will accompany Obama. It has been said that largest contingents of business delegates will accompany the President on a state visit.

Obama will be spending his first day with Indian industrialists and CEO’s. It will help them in strengthening economic ties. It has been said that Corporate America will ask India for greater market access and more Foreign Direct Investment.

US President Barack Obama will come to India during his Asia trip and owing to this security has been briefed up in Mumbai . A full security dress rehearsal involving NSG commandos will be held in Mumbai tomorrow.

This Asia visit of Obama is the longest overseas visit during his presidency. During his visit to India one of his top agenda will be to discuss views on Afghanistan- Pakistan and rise of China.

It has been reported by American Officials that Washington feels India has a bigger role in the region especially when US is having an uneasy relationship with China. Now a question comes up whether a stronger Indo-US relationship will have any impact on strained Indo-China relationship.

Shiv Shankar Menon is the National Security Advisor of India. According to him India’s relation with US will have no negative impact on relations with China and vice versa. He feels that it is no more a binary world or zero sum game.

It has been reported that Obama’s administration depends largely on Pakistani army in a difficult war on terror. A military aid of two billion has just been announced. In fact there is great degree of concern in India over Obama’s Pakistan policy.

Kanwal Sibal who is the former foreign secretary said that Obama had just finished his strategic dialogue with Pakistan. He has also given Pakistan more aid. Now the message is that America will maintain a balance between Pakistan and India. This message has been made very clear.

It has been said that now Obama is in a dilemma. He will have to deal with New Delhi’s unease over Af- Pak policy and US concern over China.
