Cisco has proclaimed the introduction of 60 new products to its existing line of offerings in its collaboration portfolio. The latest entrants in this portfolio are enterprise social software and hosted email to bring the collaboration power of online social communities to businesses.
The newly introduced enhancements by the company, new Cisco telepresence, Cisco unified communications and Cisco WebEx solutions will aid business to capitalize of video and voice based communication to enable collaboration across all media and devices.
The new endeavor collaboration platform is an enterprise level social software portal. This features a corporate directory with social networking capabilities. This furnishes employees with a social networking platform as well as a securer environment to collaborate in.
Cisco also introduced new unified IP phones which proffer a HD voice and full VGA colour displays. The devices boasts to be made from recyclable plastics and also designed to power-efficient apart from offering Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support.
Cisco Vice President (Marketing, Collaboration Solutions) Kara Wilson said that the pricing models for the new products are flexible; customers can use the solutions on a pay per use model or monthly subscription model.
