Conflicker.C is the follow-up version of the Conflicker virus, which hit millions of computers using Microsoft Windows operating system that were not updated yet. Computer might be attacked by a conflicker-a virus- on April 1, periling all your important data you stored in it.

The risk is so great Microsoft has offered a $US250,000 reward for information on those who released the virus and the US Department of Homeland Security yesterday released a tool to scan for and remove the bug.

According to this agency, Conflicker.C is very dangerous and it can create a bogus network to attack any computer networks or nations or attack the data of millions of personal computers in the world, including Vietnam.

computer experts don’t know about the outcome after the conflicker attacks your system. It is already present in your system and installs itself through a programme on web page.

Symantec endpoint security senior manager Robert Pregnall said that while it was not clear what instructions the virus would download, its makers were likely to be motivated by money and could use it to steal banking or credit card details.

The Conflicker virus gains entry into Windows-based computers through a vulnerability in the operating system.
