He was asked from where he got the inspiration to direct such a film. In reply he told that it just came to his mind. He declared “Guzaarish” to be the most difficult film of his life. He also told that euthanasia is a subject that has not been handled in Indian cinema. It is a very important issue. He also told that he is trying to present the whole matter in an entertainment mode starring big stars in big platform.  Thus he is trying to represent the sensitive issue to all Indians in an entertaining fashion. But he is not propagating it nor is he taking its side. He also said that his characters are little different and strange from others. In order to relate to the film one has to analyze the characters.   

According to him audiences are always right.  He said that he has got full faith on the Indian audience and that is the reason which compels him to make “Guzaarish”. The audience only wants good films. If they feel “Saawariya” is bad then it must be. He also said that films are his way of existing in this world.

The music of this film will be released this weekend. Director Farah Khan says how her three children will make her debut. She also told about her cooking skills. Tees Maar Khan is mainly about a character of Akbar’s time. He used to con people with his intelligent ideas. Shrish Kunder is the husband of Farah Khan. He has modified the character in tune with modern time.  It has been said that Akshay is playing a Muslim character for the first time. His character Tarbez Mirza Khan is known as Tees Maar Khan. He is an international con artist. In the film he calls himself half Robin Hood. Basically he robs from rich people like Hood but he doesn’t give those back to poor people. Katrina Kaif is playing his love interest. She wants to be an item girl. 

According to Farah Katrina has a great screen presence. So she is perfect for the female lead and is best suited for this character.  She also needed an actor with great comic timing. In that case Akshay is best among all in present time. Another attraction of the film is the item number performed by none other than Salman Khan, real life love interest of the female lead.

Though Ms. Clinton says that situation has changed a lot with time, but she is not sure about the fact that whether Pakistan has completely stopped using terror against India and Afghanistan. Changes also took place in Yahoo Messenger. Now the user can publish messenger status to Yahoo Pulse, Facebook and Twitter at the same time. The user can also play social games.

It has been heard that they will integrate with Microsoft’s Office online service. Microsoft Office online service has been introduced very recently. This popular social networking company will for the first time allow the site’s 500 million members to use “@ face book.com” address. This has been reported by TechCrunch which is a tech news blog.  They said that Facebook feature will be a full featured e-mail client. 

It has also been reported by TechCrunch that Facebook is completely rewriting their messaging product. They are also preparing to launch a fully featured web mail product in its place. 

This has brought the rivalry between Face book and Google to the front. Recently Google also cut off Facebook’s access to its own email products. It will prevent Facebook from importing Gmail address book until Facebook allows Google to access its data on its site. 

It has been said that Google internet search engine and Facebook’s social networking services have turned into million dollar business. Both of them have vast number of users. Now they are in a collision mode. Blog TechCrunch says that product launched by Facebook’s new email service is being referred to as “Gmail killer” among insiders. It has been said that relations between two internet icons is confrontational and it will intensify on Monday.

K.S. Sudarshan is the former chief of RSS. His derogatory comments about Congress President Sonia Gandhi led the Congress party to a warpath on Friday. It has been reported that an FIR has been lodged against him in Jaipur and a defamation case has been filed in Bhopal against him. Violent protests by party activists emerged in the country following the comments. It has been reported that Congress party activists burnt effigies and staged rallies against him in several states. 

Both RSS and BJP after this incident got busy in controlling the damage. However RSS issued a statement saying that the views of Sudarshan did not represent the party’s view. In fact Prakash Javadekar who is BJP spoke person says that they also share same views with RSS. Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, the general secretary of Sangh expressd his regret over the alleged statement. He said that it has hurt the sentiments of people and led to unfortunate developments. 

After this incident different demonstrations by Congress took place through out the whole nation. In Delhi police had to use water canons to remove the protestors from RSS headquarter at Jhandelwalan. Even in West Bengal a demonstration by Congress party activists was organized. The main road joining South and North Kolkata was blocked for 2o minutes by Congress demonstrators. An effigy of Sudarshan was burnt in Esplanade area. 

Reports of demonstrations also came from Patna. Hundreds of party activists assembled near Patna junction. A procession was brought out near the Dak Bungalow roundabout. In Jaipur police registered a criminal case against him Sudarshan.

Its quarterly total revenue increased by 6% to Rs.2,041.74 crore from the Rs.1,926.56 crore for the corresponding period last year, while “other income” was Rs.72.47 crore, compared with the Rs.16.73 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Egg, meat and fish prices are up 29% from last year, rice prices up 3.11%, wheat prices are up 2.81%, cereals are up 3.44%, while prices of milk and fruits also rose about 20%.

The index for ‘Non-Food Articles’ group declined by 0.1% to 161.7 (Provisional) from 161.9 (Provisional) for the previous week due to lower prices of gaur seed, raw silk, niger seed and cotton seed (2% each) and groundnut seed (1%). However, the prices of safflower (12%), castor seed (3%) and raw rubber and copra (1% each) moved up.

At a function, Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council Chairman C Rangarajan said, “Food inflation is caused by shortage of food and supply. In the mid-term we need to ensure that supply is increased through production to curb inflation.”

Supreme Court yesterday came up with the verdict that Monica Bedi need not go back to jail. She had already served the required jail term. This has been informed by her counsel Gaurav Bhagrava. The main criminal case that was lodged against Monica Bedi was that of passport forgery. She was imprisoned after being deported from Portugal along with in-custody gangster Abu Salem.

She said to the media that she had been waiting eagerly for this day. She is thankful to God that it has finally arrived. So she will party today. She also said that now she is free to apply for a fresh passport.

Many film makers had dropped her since she was not allowed to travel abroad. Now she is free to work in all those projects. According to her, this judgment brings an end to a turbulent chapter in her life. She was desperate to put an end to this chapter.

Now she is looking for a new beginning. Since all problems of court are finally over, so she is free to breathe fresh air. But she will be going to Gurudwara to offer her prayers to God.

An official of shipping ministry told to PTI that the proposal will be send to the Cabinet for approval. After that Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be signed for the same. The ferry service would be from Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu to Colombo in Sri Lanka and Rameswaram to Thalaimannar respectively.

It has been said that both ferry services will be available for cargo as well as passenger traffic. But main purpose of this ferry service is tourism.  The official said that vessels will be coming from a private party. But he refused to provide all details.  He also told that the proposal will go to the Cabinet soon and MoU is expected to be signed by December this year.

It takes approximately ten hours to travel by sea from Tuticorin to Colombo and three hours to travel from Rameswaram to Thalaimannar. Presently India has cargo operations from Tuticorin Port to Sri Lanka.

It has been reported that government is looking to invest $20.8 billion in 276 projects. The project will extend over 13 major ports. The ports are Mumbai, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, and Kolkata along with Haldia, Chennai, Visakhapatanam, Cochin, Paradip, New Mangalore, Marmagao, Ennore, Tuticorin and Kandla.
