Final Journey of Boyzone singer Stephen Gately

October 17th was the day when thousands of fans gathered outside St Laurence O’Toole’s church in north Dublin to pay their homage to Boyzone singer Stephen Gately .The former Irish pop singer Stephen Gately died last week when he was on holiday in Majorca. Post-mortem tests found he died of natural causes.

Members of Boyzone have paid a moving tribute to bandmate Stephen Gately at his funeral in Dublin.

“The world has lost one of its brightest stars, we have lost our brother,” Ronan Keating told guests at St Laurence O’Toole’s church. He called him as a perfect angel.

Former Irish taoiseach ,British composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, and former Irish prime minister Bertie Ahern, members of Boyzone and Westlife, Jason Donovan and Shayne Ward were among the mourners, joining many of Gately’s close family and friends.
