The StatCounter figures have revealed that Firefox 3.5 is on a par with Internet Explorer 7 in terms of market share. The browser of the Mozilla Foundation could become the world Number 1 early 2010.
These are only two curves on a graph that join, but they speak volumes about the current upheaval. Based on all the latest figures for November StatCounter, Firefox 3.5 is at equal deals with Internet Explorer 7: 21.45% market share (for the first ) against 21.47 (for the second). It just a minute different left to achieve the target.
The fox is going to succeed that no browser is able to do since Netscape, namely dethrone the almighty IE (Internet Explorer). Since its release last June, Firefox 3.5 has grown dramatically while at the same time, IE7 was only lose ground. A decline largely due to the arrival of Internet Explorer 8 which is not far behind the leading duo with 20.16% market share.
IE8 can he prevent Firefox 3.5 to wear the crown of No. 1 worldwide by the end of the year?
