CAT exams are being held nationwide online for the first time and it is reported that servers of the Common Admission Test (CAT) exam crashed at the 11 centers located in 9 cities. Kapil Sibal minister HRD said that ‘Government won’t interfere in this matter ‘.IIM which is organizing the online CAT exam for the first time has cancelled the exam. The CAT convenor ,Professor Satish Deadher said that the problem was due to overload and cat official will meet the developers of online exams at evening to discuss the issue.

Professor Satish Deadher convenor at Cat Online exams said. “We are rescheduling some online exams. The servers crashed in Chennai, Bangalore, Bhopal and Lucknow because of that many students were unable to take the test in First batch.

Panic and nervousness among students has been noticed as there is no clear picture when the new schedule will come for those students who were not able to take their test in first batch because of the glitch.

At centers the students get assurance from the authorities that the new schedule will be SMS to them soon but the exams are continue and second batch students will appear from already scheduled time that is 4 o’ clock.
