HP Thinspiration now ready to inspire your life: It’s right that thin is in. Everyone wants a light weight and easy to handle gadget and now the trend is to be size 0 for laptops too.
Hewlett-Packard (HP), PC manufacturer, has entered the market with its ‘Thinspiration’ notebook range.

HP has brought out three ultra thin 3G ready notebook which will be available in India between 23,000 to 60,000 only.

These sleek and stylish notebooks include Pavilion dm1 series, HP Pavilion dm3 series, ProBook 5310m and Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje.

HP Pavilion dm3 offers Intel C2D processor and discrete graphics to meet your performance needs. The notebook weighs approximately 1.91 kilos with 13.3-inch diagonal High-Definition HP LED BrightView Widescreen Display and a lightweight, brushed aluminum chassis in “modern argento”. The notebook has a battery life of up to 10 hours. Measuring one-inch thin HP Pavilion dm3 is easy to carry virtually anywhere, anytime. It carries a price tag of Rs 58,990 (approx.) including taxes.
HP Pavilion dm1 offers you the perfect ‘thin and light’ notebook for all day computing when in the office, at home, or on the go. HP Pavilion dm1 features a larger screen and up to 9.75 hours of battery life for day and night, less than 1.5kg weight, low voltage processors. HP Pavilion dm1 has 11.6-inch diagonal High-Definition LED BrightView Widescreen Display and 92 per cent full-size keyboard with one-touch launch keys and Action Keys, Touch Pad with dedicated vertical Scroll Up/Down. Price: 38,500, including taxes.
HP’s joint venture with world-renowned Dutch industrial designer, Tord Boontje, follows the successful collaboration with fashionista, Vivienne Tam. HP Mini by Studio Tord Boontje weighs 1.06-kilos and measures just over one-inch thick. HP Mini by Studio Tord Boontje features a 10.1-inch mercury-free LED display and 92% full-size keyboard. HP Mini by Studio Tord Boontje breaks new ground with the industry’s first three-dimensional (3D) PC surface technology – HP Imprint 3D. This technology brings deepness and result to Boontje’s pattern of flora and endangered animals that unravels onto the palm rest and touchpad of the notebook. HP Mini has a 6-cell Lithiumion battery with a life of up to 8 hours in a sing charge. Price: Rs 23,500 including taxes.

HP ProBook 5310m is designed for mobile professionals. HP ProBook 5310m starts from 1.72-kilos and measures 0.93-inches thin. It sports a 13.3-inch diagonal LED high-definition display and offers a standard voltage processor for maximum performance. This notebook also combines durable, black anodized aluminum with a magnesium frame wrapped in soft touch paint. Price starts from Rs 60,000. HP ProBook 5310m will be available in an BFR/PVC-free configuration.
