Indian Army Web Portal hosted by NIC
Indian Army has launched its web portal on Thursday in an effort to empower itself into a technology driven environment. Indian Army site, www.indianarmy.nic.in is hosted by NIC (National Informatics Centre). The site also boasts that it is hack free and is fully secure.
The newly launched web portal has been developed on the state of the art technology available.
If you go to the site you will see the site offering various options like search, user interactivity, latest events, feedback, secured login, decentralized data update, space for all the arms/services of the Indian Army etc.
The site shows History of the Indian Army, the Strength, the Chief of Army Staff, Commands and awards. It also provides other information like training details, branches and results of tests.
