A waterline break at the University LRT stop has disrupted train service Friday night and the problem may last until Saturday morning.
Edmonton Transit spokeswoman Patricia Dickson said that as of 9 p.m. Friday, the LRT is running in both directions, but no stops will be made at the University station. People who need to get to the University stop should get off the train at either Grandin or Health Sciences, where a shuttle bus has been set up to take people to the University stop.
The bus will run until the end of service hours Friday and will continue Saturday morning if the University stop remains unusable. (Source: Edmonton Journal)
