Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) 2010 is scheduled to be held on May 20, 2010, Thursday from 09.00 am to 12.00 noon. RPET has received around 73,500 applications according to sources. Around 62,000 candidates had appeared for the engineering entrance examination last year.
Eligibility Criteria to appear for RPET:
• The candidate should have passed 12th grade with the subject combination of Physics and Mathematics with any of the other subjects from Computer, Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology.
Rajasthan Technical University, Kota carries out RPET. There are around 50,000 seats for B.E. and B.tech courses. The admission to these courses takes places on merit base.
RPET is for all the government aided as well as private engineering colleges in Rajasthan except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities. The admission is for the 2010-2011 session.
