It is sometimes very difficult to manage a big address book. It seems as if it’s a challenge to work upon. Google contacts are a fast, easy way to merge duplicate contacts was one of the top-requested features by its users. Therefore, Google has added a new button to merge all duplicate contacts at once. Now no matter how long is your contact list, just click the “Find duplicates” button in the contact manager. You can then review the merge suggestions and can uncheck any suggestions you are unwilling to merge and eventually hit the “Merge” button. All your contact list is sorted in one go.
Google official blog also informs that if you are taking into consideration getting all your contacts into Gmail or syncing your Gmail contacts to your phone, its time you do it. The blog says, “You can sync your contacts to a wide variety of devices (including Android, iPhone, Blackberry, SyncML, etc). So if you were dreading spending hours getting your contacts in order, now you can do it with a couple clicks.”
