Band Baaja Baaraat, the next film from the house of Yash Raj Films, had an exclusive music launch in Mumbai on the 3^rd of November, at Reliance Timeout in Bandra.  Starring in the movie are Anushka Sharma and newbie Ranveer Singh. They made an entry at the event amidst a lot of band baaja which was pretty akin to the Indian wedding scenario. After having launched the music album for their film, the duo sat down for the press conference.

According to Anushka, the story of Band Baajaa Baaraat revolves around two graduates from Delhi, Bittu and Shruti and the ups and downs in their professional as well as private lives. She was also hopeful that the young generation would be able to relate to the characters of the film. Debutant Ranveer Singh was elated about the fact that his childhood dream of becoming an actor has come true and that too with the best kind of launch pad ever. Rubbishing the rumors that his father was the producer of the movie, he said that he had been through a period of serious struggle and had to go through a lot of auditions before he could land up with the role. About always being a part of the media scrutiny, he said that he was aware of the fact that it comes with the package of being a star and hence has no qualms about it.

Both the actors wished their fans and well wishers a happy and prosperous Diwali.
