The Acer Aspire One D250 has finally knocked India’s door. The Acer Aspire One D250 is first dual-OS netbook to run Google’s Android operating system.

“The dual OS netbook is a fourth generation Netbook from the Acer stable and clearly reinforces our leadership position to the consumer and trade. We are now building on our existing portfolio by giving the consumer more choice in this category, by offering the first Android based OS netbook,” said Mr. S. Rajendran, CMO Acer India.

The Android operating system endows the Aspire One netbook to boot up and shut down speedily with an ‘instant on’ 18 second boot-up and 3-second shutdown, making it a quick-in, quick-out OS.

The device is equipped with a 10-inch LED-backlit screen, 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB HDD, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and Webcam.
