Ghaziabad:-After a long periods of time,the story of dead body parts of innocent childern and women were found from a drain in Noida, a special court held on Thrusday Punjabi businessman Moninder singh Pandher and his Servant Suinder Koli,guilty of the murder and rape of Rimpa Haldar, was first of the victims who was brutally killed on 8 February 2005 and her body was found hacked.
. A special court delivered its first verdict in the case today. Autorickshaw driver Anil Halder, father of Rimpa Halder, is among those who have been waiting for this day of justice.
Pandher (55) and Koli (38), who have been in judicial custody since January 2007, were produced in the jam-packed court of Rama Jain, Special CBI Judge, who pronounced the duo guilty of murder, rape, criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence.
According to the chargesheet filled by the CBI in May 2007,which took over the case from Noida police two years ago,Halder was allegedly raped and murdered about four years ago by Pandhar’s domestic help Surender Koli at bungalow number D-5,Sector 31,Noida.Halder was allegedly strangled and then cut to pieces by Koli with two Kitchen Knives and an axe.The charge sheet further states that Koli was suffering from necrophilla(urge to have sex with a corpse)and necrophagia(urge to eat the flesh of a body).
According to the 16 chargesheets submitted by the CBI,including in the Halder case,Koli was single-handedly responsible for 16 of the 19 murders,between February 2005 and nov 2006,registered by the police.
The punishment would be pronounced tomorrow, the judge said after delivering a 55-page verdict. The sentence can be death by hanging or life imprisonment.
The Friday(tomorrow),businessman Moninder and his servant Koli will be sentenced by the court.
