SBI accords with AGS InfoTech for ATMs

SBI accords with AGS InfoTech for ATMs:State Bank Of India has signed a deal with AGS Infotech, a provider of technology-based solutions for banking, retail, petroleum and postal sectors for 1000 ATMs. As per the agreement, AGS Infotech will supply, install, commission and maintain the ATMs and ATM sites. The deal signed worth around Rs 50 crore.

After the selection of site by the bank it will handover the site to AGS for total implementation services (TIS) which involves building the bank’s ATM centers along with all related equipments like UPS, ACs, etc., a press release issued said.

“The first phase involved installing a minimum of 203 ATMs in three circles of SBI within one month. This included a fair number of ATM sites to be built within the same time-frame. This tested our strength and we are happy to have achieved the target set by SBI” was the remark made by AGS Infotech’s President & CEO, Mr Sunil R Udupa.
