TATA Nano Hybrid version and exporting Ace is under consideration: Ratan Tata
A South Korean newspaper has revealed that Ratan Tata, chairman of Tata Motors is considering his dream project to join the league of world’s environment friendly trend. Simultaneously, Tata Motors is also considering exporting its light truck Ace to South Korea, and is also assembling or manufacturing the model at its South Korean plant.
Most likely Tata Nano get an exterior facelift too. Right now the date or time frame of launching pocket friendly hybrid version of TATA Nano is not revealed.
Ratan Tata said, “We are working on an eco-car in Thailand, electric vehicles and hybrids.”
Earlier also at the 63rd annual general meeting of the company in Mumbai, the chairman Mr. Ratan Tata given some hints on NANO hybrid version and talked in length about the progressing work at the company on alternate fuel technology, including hybrids.
