Transcend has announced the launch of Transcend MP860 latest state of art player, the MP860 up to 8GB digital music player in India. With this gadget you can not only listen to music but also watch movies. Sporting a high-contrast 2.4-inch full color display, this feature-packed device claims to deliver an amazing entertainment experience.
The MP860 comes with a line-in feature for recording music from an external source such as a CD player. The player’s A-B repeat and variable track playback speeds are valuable tools for language learning. The gadget has hi-speed USB 2.0 port for easy computer connectivity and fast file transfers. It has USB flash drive capabilities for data transfer and storage.
According to a press release, the digital music player supports newer file formats such as FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) and OGG, as well as MP3, WMA, WAV, and WMA-DRM10 protected music files. In addition, the MP860’s equalizer effects include SRS WOW HD and user-customizable options. The player also has a built-in speaker, a 2.4 inch color screen and supports MPEG4 SP(XVID) and FLV video playback. The MP860 can also play MPEG4 SP (XVID) and FLV movies. The built-in 8 GB memory helps store all the videos, music and photos. The microSD/microSDHC expansion slot further adds to the convenience.
