Senate Republicans prevented the movement of anti off shoring bill. If the bill would have bee passed then it would have denied the tax breaks to the United States companies which move jobs to the over seas countries.

Republicans prevented the bill by a vote of 53- 45. They needed 60 votes in total to overcome the opposition party’s obstruction. According to the bill the government contractors can’t use American tax payer’s money to move the job overseas.

The IT companies that are working in India feel that the impact of the bill will create no effect on India’s IT sector. But in countries where different US companies are working may be affected by this bill. In fact it may come as a boomerang to them only.

All business groups are highly disappointed by this bill. One of them named as National Association of Manufacturers ( NAM) send a letter to the senators saying that this measure will render different US companies to be less competitive. It will also create problems in the job market.

Orrion Hatch who is a Republican senator attacked the Democrats saying that this simple act of them reflects their sense of irresponsibility. He also expresses his due concern that this might led the US companies to move their domestic facilities to other countries. That is not at all desired for their ailing economy.

Another Senator Chuck Grassley also agrees with the view point of Hatch. He feels that this bill will lead to create problems in job field in US. Rather it will decrease the creation of American jobs.

A Democrat Harry Rid said that they tired to keep the American jobs in America. But the Republicans continue with their job killing as usual.
