On Tuesday, Sony India has launched a new consumer notebook, Vaio X, In order to promote the vaio X series bollywood actress Karina Kapoor has been chosen as its brand ambassador.
Sony India managing director Masaru Tamagawa claimed that 655 grams Vaio X is the lightest laptop available in whole world. It is coming in different designs and clours.
“We are targeting to capture 20 percent share of the consumer notebook market by fiscal 2010,” said company managing director Masaru Tamagawa.
The Sony India managing director also informed that Sony will spend 15 Crore rupees for marketing and advertising the new products. Why Karina Kapoor is chosen as its brand ambassador? The answer is simple, she represent the size zero in India and consider as the slim symbol for others that’s why she is perfect to represent the slim version laptop Vaio X
Sony India, which currently has amarket share of 15 percent in the notebook segment, Tuesday launched three new laptop models – ultra slim VAIO X, colour coordinated VAIO CW and a new netbook VAIO W.
