Yahoo has launched its new looking Yahoo mail beta interface across the world. They have kept their promise of launching a revamped mail service code named as Minty. It has been said that new beta version is 2X times faster than earlier version. It offers integration with Twitter, Facebook and Yahoo updates. Moreover new beta will provide significant spam protection. It will block 1.6 trillion spam messages per year. 

Kakul Srivastava is the Vice President, Communications & Communities Product Management of Yahoo. He said that they have fundamentally transformed their product suite. They are focusing on simplifying and clarifying the user experience through Yahoo beta mail. 

It has been said that when one will log into Yahoo mail beta account they will see the option “what’s new feature”. The ‘What’s New’ tab will come up with latest updates from user contacts, Facebook and Twitter and will also allow user to share the same. The user can choose to share on all of them or they can also share one at a time. 

More over it will also allow viewing pictures and videos shared either through Picasa and Flickr or YouTube in the inbox without having to travel to their links.  The new beta will work two times faster. This is possible mainly due to the use of cloud technology. 

Changes also took place in Yahoo Messenger. Now the user can publish messenger status to Yahoo Pulse, Facebook and Twitter at the same time. The user can also play social games.
