Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is celebrating its first anniversary in India with the launch of the 32 GB verison of the Mi4i. The smartphone was first launched with 16BG capacity in May this year for Rs 12,999.
Registrations for the Mi4i has already started at 10 A.M. today, and the smartphone will go on sale for 28 July, 2015.
Apart from the storage capacity, all rest of the features of Mi4i will remain the same. Mi4i is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core (1.1GHz quad-core + 1.7GHz quad-core) 64-bit SoC with processor and the Adreno 405 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 4i features a 5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 441ppi. It also features a 13-megapixel primary camera with 1080p video recording, alongside a 5-megapixel front camera. It is powered by a 3120mAh battery pack.
Connectivity options include, dual-SIM card slots with both supporting LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS, and on the software front it runs on Android Lollipop-based MIUI 6.

Xiaomi Mi4i 32 GB available in dark grey, and carries a price tag of INR 14,999 ($235).
